About the Alliance
The Alliance for Iowa State is a coalition of Iowa State University alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff, and friends. The Alliance advocates Iowa State University’s land grant mission throughout Iowa while focusing its advocacy on state legislators and public policy makers.
The primary goal of the Alliance for Iowa State is to engage advocates throughout the state and earn their support for the educational, research, and economic development capabilities of Iowa State University.
Advocates in the Alliance raise awareness for Iowa State among elected officials and public policy makers in Iowa by contacting their legislators, writing letters to the editor, and making their support for Iowa State known throughout their community.
The Alliance for Iowa State empowers our most important asset – members of the Iowa State family – to engage in advocacy for Iowa’s only land-grant university. The Alliance is a great resource to keep Iowans involved and informed about the impact and value Iowa State brings to all 99 Iowa counties.
